These prompts can be difficult to answer some days, lol.
Tomorrow, I wish I could say I was prioritizing something cool or fun or different. But to be honest, it is going to most likely be a normal day. And that’s okay.
Normal days mean that my loved ones are comfortable, happy, and safe. Normal days mean that my son gets to play at home and stay on schedule. Normal days mean that all is well in our little world.
Tomorrow I will prioritize the normal. The day to day turning of time. Laundry, cooking, cleaning, taking care of a baby. Appreciating my role as a homemaker and soaking in the goodness of these days.
Life is not always going to be the same as it is now, and I want to see the beauty around me. Appreciating beautiful moments does not happen on accident. I have to be purposeful about my attitude and the things I let into my life.
The news is not beautiful, but folded laundry is.
Being anxious is not beautiful, but 10 minutes of reading God’s Word is.
Living life on purpose, because it is much too precious to be wasted.
